Our Grade II listed building, once a distinguished Georgian home has been sympathetically transformed to a stunning wedding venue, creating a stunning wedding venue. With the addition of antique furnishings, complemented with beautiful clocks, sculptures, and a blend of complimentary art from postmodernist and abstract to traditional realist pieces, The "Old House" boasts an oak panelled civil ceremony room with a featured fireplace and a traditional entrance for welcome drinks and photographs.

Additionally, Sudbury House offers a more contemporary design in the main hotel with a spacious and comfortable bar and lounge and our delightful Magnolia restaurant, seating up to 160 for a wedding breakfast and up to 200 for an informal buffet or evening function.

With extensive licensed areas in both the hotel and our picturesque gardens, Sudbury House provides the perfect combination for your dream day.

What can I Say? Our Wedding was a month ago & I still cannot believe how wonderful it was. This venue was just perfect in everyway. The staff are so attentive & hard working, professional & friendly. Nothing was too much effort for them & the day just ran smoothly from start to end. Our guests echo our opinion too & said how lovely their rooms were & how they would return to the hotel, as would we - multipe times too! Great hotel, fantastic team - you Can't ask for anything more :)
