At Sudbury House we have a variety of rooms available to accommodate 2 to 100 delegates. Our purpose built Presentation Suite with comfortable tiered seating is ideal for an award ceremony, lecture or training event.
Our modern, light and airy Terrace Suite comes with 2 syndicate rooms and its own private terrace overlooking our beautifully manicured gardens.
The contemporary and flexible Magnolia meeting space is perfectly equipped for 10 to 60 delegates.
Located in the Georgian wing of our Grade II listed building are two further impressively restored meeting rooms suitable for board meetings, networking events and training courses.

Meeting & Conferencing Room Options
A banquet style set-up offers round tables seating between 8 and 10 delegates facing each other to enhance interaction. This layout is often used for team meetings, training, awards and large corporate celebrations.
The cabaret set-up features round tables with delegates seated around half the table, facing the front of the room. This layout is great for interactive sessions with small to medium sized groups.
Our Presentation Suite is a purpose built theatre layout. Enabling maximum room occupancy with all attendees facing the stage. This is a popular choice for communicating to large numbers of delegates for presentations or lectures.
The boardroom layout offers a traditional set-up that facilitates conversation and discussion. The table is placed in the middle of the room with chairs around it.
In a classroom set-up delegates have their own desk or share with one other, facing the front. This is often used where the presenter needs to communicate detailed knowledge and information during training or workshops.
The tables and seating are arranged in the shape of a letter 'U', making a large three-sided table, open at the front. All delegates can see each other and the presenter, so this is a good choice for group interaction. This is often used for presentations, training and meetings.

We stayed for two nights in the Deluxe Suite. This was probably the best suite we have stayed anywhere in the UK. The three rooms are very large and very well appointed with high quality furnishings and equipment. The bed, chairs and sofas were all very comfortable and the rooms were immaculately clean. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and any request we made was carried out within minutes.
The breakfasts and dinners were excellent and the staff again were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The meals were delicious and of a very high quality . Unfortunately, we had to leave after two days although we had booked for four but again the staff were very understanding and helpful. We will be visiting again.
This is a hidden gem that does quality, classy and understated hospitality at its best. We stayed for a night as a family of 4 including two teenage kids and our dog. We had a fantastic dinner in the bar of fresh, high quality food which was excellently prepared. We even managed a game of Cluedo before the evening was up. Our rooms were very comfortable with lovely beds. Morning brought a quick dog walk around the grounds followed by a delicious breakfast. Services was spot on again. Quite how this place is such a secret, we don’t know. The chef is new but is clearly destined for greatness, the manager is friendly but focussed and the setting is lovely. Don’t book anywhere else. This is it - perfection.
Stayed for two nights Valentines weekend. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Evening meal very good. Hotel was clean, warm and room fully equipped. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Will certainly return.
Visited this hotel on a business trip, absolutely beautiful!! The staff were overly attentive and the food faultless, I highly recommend and would definitely come again! We were personally greeted by the manageress and looked after beyond all expectations, 10 out of 10.
We arrived to a friendly, warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. All the food at dinner was excellent and beautifully presented. Served by helpful, attentive staff. Breakfast was a buffet which was all hot and replenished as necessary. Check out again was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.
We only stayed one night, the hotel was excellent very friendly staff made to feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again.
